Dorset Road Window Grills

Protective and decorative window grills were part of the refurbishment plan for Dorset Road Community Centre in Hagfold, Atherton. We worked with the management committee and centre users to develop a theme and images to reflect the activities that go on at the centre. Mums and toddlers created a collage of a landscape, a youth group created images of themselves with shadow and the Morris Dancers created a journey with their footprints. These ideas were drawn together in to one design that could be fabricated in to painted steel bar and mesh panels.
