Mister Fu with 'Wrap' |
The aim of the C21 Feast Project was to raise awareness of and celebrate Blackburn's hosting of the Fukuoka exhibition in 2006. Artist Jac Scott, who is known nationally for her work using waste materials, was employed on this project. A partnership was also set up with SAMS - Scrap Art Material Store in Blackburn.
The images above are of the finished sculptures that Jac made, one of which, 'Gluttons Enigma', will be displayed permanently at Rhubarb - Blackburn's tourist information centre and cafe.
