YOUNG PEOPLE TOGETHER

VIEW PROJECT GALLERY

Six Blackburn and Darwen high schools explored their perceptions and understanding of different faiths. They then had the opportunity to create their own faith and express their values.

Working in partnership with staff and students from:

  • Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School,
  • Darwen Aldridge Community Academy,
  • Witton Park Business and Enterprise College,
  • St Wilfred's C of E High School & Technology College,
  • St Bede's High School and Pleckgate High School
  • Pleckgate High School, Mathematics & Computing College.

The Interfaith Forum firmly believes that as a society we have much more in common than we may at first think. This project highlighted this fundamental premise and contributed to new friendships and a better understanding between culturally diverse young people.
