Plant Hill Music Project

Based at Plant Hill High School in North Manchester and funded by CAPE the projects aim was to develop writing, performance and production skills with young people.. Working with 20 young people a session, a wide rang of original music is produced, spanning many genres, from pop through to R & B and Rap, to punk.

The young people on the project developed new song writing skills, further developed performance skills using their voice and traditional instruments as well as learning to use digital instruments. The project has already performed at their school and these pictures show a performance at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. A CD is available of their completed tracks.
