Young people perform at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester |
Based at Plant Hill High School in North Manchester and funded by CAPE the projects aim was to develop writing, performing and production skills. Working with 20 young people a session, a wide rang of original music is produced, spanning many genres, from pop through to R & B and Rap, to punk. The young people on the project developed new song writing skills, further developed performance skills using thier voice and traditional instruments as well as learning to use digital instruments. The project has already performed at their school and these pictures show a performance at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. A CD is available of their completed tracks.
