Public and Environmental Arts
Action Factory have significantly expanded our skills, knowledge and experience of developing site-specific artworks with communities. We engage people on a number of levels in Public Art and the environment, developing a sense of ownership and belonging.
We also work with other agencies to facilitate links with communities. We can work with people to record feelings, gather stories and identify shared needs or priority areas through creative consultancy.
We work in partnership with local artists, crafts people, landscapers and building contractors to create and install public artworks. Some of our projects also give us the opportunity to explore new ways of involving people in the processes of landscape development.
