Why Volunteer?

Action Factory is based in Blackburn, Lancashire and we work with organisations, groups and individuals based in the North West of England (Lancashire, Cumbria, West Yorkshire, Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire). We can only offer volunteer opportunities to people based within the North West. 

Volunteering is a way of:

  • taking on new challenges and responsibilities
  • meeting new people and working as part of a team
  • developing skills such as communication skills, organisational skills
  • developing creatively
  • provides a sense of achievement from all of the above
