Working for Action Factory
As a Freelance Artist working for Action Factory you will initially be shown round the building and have the chance to ask any questions you may have about working for us. A more formal induction takes place which covers expectations from us to you, and from you to us. We expect all our Freelancers to work to the same values we have and to work to our policies. All Freelancers must also undertake Child Protection Training which we deliver and has been specifically designed for the community artist.
Once you have registered with Action Factory you are put on a mailing list which gives you access to employment opportunities, art events in the borough and throughout the North West, and you will receive our Newsletter. The newsletter gives you information about any changes within the company and also any upcoming training. In the past we have offered anything from Child Protection Training and Disability Awareness Training to more practical training like Mosaic Methods and Raku Training.
